Home About Us News Events BR in the Media Blog	Mission The Bootheel Riders is a nonprofit organization that strives to help meet the needs of the communities throughout the bootheel area through special fund-raisers and events. History Bootheel Riders began in Portageville, Missouri when Stan Partin and Mike Jones originally talked about starting a club, due to the large number of bikes in the community and the desire of many of the riders to get together and ride. Many of the Portageville civic organizations were in rapid decline, so the Bootheel Riders decided to pick up where the Kiwanis and PCBT left off. The Riders have taken on many things that the other clubs used to do, while expanding their reach to surrounding communities. Known for riding and having fun, the Riders have amassed over 40 members. Now in their 3rd year, the Riders intend to add to their list of accomplishments: Bought school supplies and eyeglasses for local students. Had a successful coat drive for needy kids in the area. Donated money to help fire victims. Annually supports St. Jude Children's Hospital with fund-raisers. We have been featured on our local CBS station for helping a little boy that has leukemia. Annual Events Spring: Bootheel Riders Springfest Motorcycle and Car show. Summer: Riding every weekend (weather permitting), plus the Annual Summer Vacation ride!
